Spine Tumor Surgery

Dr Bushan and his team have more than 23 years of experience in successfully dealing with these types of tumors

Tumors of the spine present a complex challenge to the surgeon. These tumors may arise from the vertebrae, spinal nerves, dura or from within the spinal cord itself. The symptoms vary depending on the site of origin and involvement of surrounding symptoms. Common presentations include pain, stiffness of the limbs, loss of sensation, limb weakness and loss of bowel and bladder control. Surgery involves removing the tumor and stabilizing the spine if required. Speciliased equipment such as drills, microscope, endoscope, C Arm and neuro monitors are required for the safe removal of these tumors.
